
Samba originated in Brazil, but it has its roots in African rhythms.
We play authentic Brazilian drums and percussion instruments. Each group of instruments is responsible for its own rhythm, which, when combined with the others form a complete samba sound.

Samba music is very infectious and can be seen to great effect in the famous Brazilian carnivals of Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and other areas. Nowadays samba is an important feature of festivals, parades and events across the UK, such as the Notting Hill Carnival at during the August bank holiday
